FAQs

  1. Can students submit projects on their own without faculty involvement?

We only accept projects that have been approved by faculty for submission. If you are a student who is interested in submitting, please ask your professor to contact the library on your behalf.

  2. For group projects, does every student need to sign a consent form?

Yes! Every student must sign a consent form. In Canada, copyright is jointly owned by co-authors. We cannot post a project unless every student involved in the project gives their permission.

  3. What happens if I want my project taken down?

You have the right to have your project taken down for any reason. Please contact us at KnowledgeMobilizationHub@senecapolytechnic.ca to let us know if you would like your project removed from the repository.

  4. If I submit my work to the Knowledge Mobilization Hub, can I still submit it for publication elsewhere?

Please review the policies and guidelines of the publication you wish to submit to (academic journal, industry magazine, etc.) for information on their requirements. The Knowledge Mobilization Hub itself does not have any policies that would prevent you from publishing elsewhere.

  5. How does the Knowledge Mobilization Hub decide the order used to list authors on each project's page (metadata record)?

We list author names in alphabetical order by last name.
