White linen two piece ensemble of a tunic and cropped pant. The tunic was a wide, notched collar and is sleeveless. Three silver tone buttons fasten in the centre front and the tunic flares out from the hip to the hem which is just above the wearer's knee. The cropped pants have a centre front fly and another silver tone button. The donor was awarded the Fil d"Argent (Silver Award) for Canada at the annual Maison Du Lin linen competition held in Paris, February 1991. The donation came with a sketch of the origianl design.
