Green silk satin evening dress with scoop neckline in front and deep plunging neckline in back. The dress is sleeveless with wide straps. The bodice is hand beaded in front and back in matching green bugle beads and pearl-shaped beads in a diamond pattern. The waistline is empire and princess seams in the skirt create a sheath style. The dress has a zipper in the centre back and concealed in deep inverted pleats. According to the donor the dress was worn at a wedding in May, 1965.
